Rafael Sarim Özdemir, oezpa Partner, ist ein Unternehmer und Investor mit mehr als 10 Jahren Erfahrung. Als Principal bei Roivant Health und als Mitgründer von Eatearnity HLTH GmbH und Maison Baum baute er 7 Start-ups auf.
Bei Roivant hat Rafael Sarim Özdemir in Start-ups aus den Bereichen Gesundheitstechnologie und Biopharma investiert und diese betrieben. Roivant ist ein Einhorn, das mehr als 3 Milliarden Dollar von führenden Investoren wie Softbank Vision Fund, Founders Fund und Peter Thiels Palantir erhalten hat. Im Jahr 2021 ging Roivant an der NASDAQ an die Börse.
Bei Eatearnity hat Rafael ein digitales Gesundheits-Start-up-Unternehmen aufgebaut und skaliert. Er erstellte den Geschäftsplan, stellte das Team ein, entwickelte die mobile App, gewann mehr als 10.000 Nutzer, verkaufte an Kunden und gewann Investoren.
Zuvor war Rafael Sarim in der Management Beratung und in Banken tätig. Außerdem führte er bis zu 40 Panzergrenadiere, eine Spezialeinheit, als stellvertretender Zugführer in der Schweizer Armee.
Rafael hat Abschlüsse von der London School of Economics (LSE), Duke (USA), St. Gallen und Boğaziçi.

Rafael is an operator and investor with 10+ years of experience. He built 7 start-ups as Principal at Roivant Health and as Co-Founder at Eatearnity HLTH GmbH and Maison Baum.
At Roivant, Rafael was an early employee, investing in and operating health-tech and biopharma start-ups. Roivant is a unicorn that raised $3B+ from leading investors like Softbank Vision Fund, Founders Fund, and Peter Thiel’s Palantir. In 2021, Roivant went public on the NASDAQ.
At Eatearnity, Rafael incubated and scaled a digital health start-up. He built the business plan, hired the team, designed the mobile app, acquired 10,000+ users, sold to customers, and raised money.
In his past life, Rafael worked in consulting and banking. He also led up to 40 PzGren as Deputy Platoon Leader in the Swiss Army. PzGren are the special forces of the armored infantry in Switzerland.
Rafael holds degrees from the LSE, Duke, St. Gallen, and Boğaziçi.
